Villa Coniglio

It's crazy, isn't it? Buying property half way across the world with the hopes that Ro and I and the rest of our family will enjoy it now and more so when we retire in a few years.  Our love of Italy, our ancestral home,  goes back years. When we first started making regular trips there, we thought about owning a place in Tuscany, or maybe Umbria. When the time came and we were ready, we picked the Puglia region.  

Whenever we visited Italy, no matter what region,  we always felt that we belonged.  So it was no surprise that when Ro and I took a "Where do you want to retire?" quiz that we came up with somewhere in southern Europe.  Where else other than Italy would make sense!?  Puglia, or Apulia as its known in Italy, offers so much.  The "heel of the boot" is just a few hours from Rome, close to two coasts and home to as much history as you would find anywhere in Italy. If you search the internet for best places to visit in Italy, far from the touristy areas, you will consistently come up with Puglia.  This website is our way of sharing this adventure with you.
